Community Options Work Programs

The Community Options Work Program provides a number of programs to develop vocational experiences, personal and educational learning opportunities for adults and youth at KRRC and off-site in the Kings County community. We are a not-for-profit vocational small business centre, and a program of the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre.

Plank 'N' Hammer Woodworking Services

Since 1980, the Plank 'N' Hammer Woodworking Service has provided employment opportunities to adults with intellectual and physical challenges in Kings County.

Adult employees are supported with personal and vocational training. Various woodworking and furniture refinishing services enable individuals to realize their fullest potential.

Products include survey stakes, lumber, gift boxes, display units, kindling, frames, special custom orders, and furniture refinishing / refurbishing.

Apple Tree Industries

Apple Tree Industries is a worksite providing employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and physical challenges in Kings County.

We provide training and skill development enhancing personal growth and employable skills. Educational and recreational opportunities provide experiences that foster personal development and independent living skills.

Applications for employment and or for consignment of products are available upon request.
